Blacklight Dodgeball

NRCA is entering our Boosterthon Fundraising Campaign that will begin next Monday, April 4th. These next couple of weeks bring such an excitement and enthusiasm to the NRCA campus all while building community amongst our students and families. This year, NRCA is raising funds that will go toward the new carline canopy, teacher workroom renovations, and tuition assistance. For our High School students, NRCA is excited to announce the return of our annual High School-Wide Blacklight Dodgeball Tournament.

The Blacklight Dodgeball tournament will take place on Wednesday, April 13th. This will be a double-elimination tournament where each student who chooses to participate will be guaranteed to play a minimum of two games. There will also be a Staff vs. Student game that students can pay to participate in for an additional $25 donation. One individual incentive available for purchase will be the “Re-Entry Incentive” where students can pay to be able to re-enter two games (one time per game) during any game as long as it is not in the last three minutes. The final individual incentive is the “Invincibility Incentive” where students who purchase this incentive will be unable to be eliminated during the first 2 minutes of whichever game they decide to use this one-time incentive.

  • Participation in Tournament, Blacklight Dodgeball Shirt, Lunch (Pizza provided) – $50
  • Participation in Staff vs. Student Game – $25
  • Re-Entry Incentive (Two Games) – $10
  • Invincibility Incentive (One Game) – $20
  • All-Inclusive Package – $100 (Students can save $5 by purchasing all the above for $100).

This year, we are excited to announce an additional option for our students who would prefer to not participate in the Blacklight Dodgeball Tournament; however, would still like to spend the day outside of class watching the tournament in the High School Gym. The cost for any student who would prefer this option will be $25 which will include their lunch. Students who would prefer to not play in the Blacklight Dodgeball Tournament CAN still pay to play in the Staff vs. Student Game for the additional $25.

All students interested in participating in the Blacklight Dodgeball Tournament will need to register via the Wufoo Link below by FRIDAY, APRIL 8th at 3:00 pm. Anybody choosing to play in the tournament after this date will be charged a late fee and will be unable to purchase any individual incentives (including the Staff vs. Student game).

NRCA is very excited to celebrate the return of the Blacklight Dodgeball Tournament with our High School students. If you have any questions leading up to the tournament, please reach out to Mr. Leonard at jleonard@nrcaknights.com.
