Art
NRCA’s art program is dedicated to nurturing a connection between critical thinking and visual literacy through an engaging, supportive, and collaborative studio environment. Our goal is for students to see the arts as a way to worship God in daily life.

The art program at NRCA promotes creativity throughout elementary, middle, and high school, introducing students to the basic elements of art and principles of design. We engage students in artistic experimentation, risk-taking, and discovery, allowing students to create unique solutions based on the talents given to them by God.

Our students study master, contemporary, and Christian artists, allowing them to see themselves in a variety of representations and inspiring them to use art as a way to spread the gospel message.
Advanced Placement Studio Art
NRCA offers Advanced Placement Studio Art at the high school level for serious art students planning to continue their study of art in college. These students prepare and present a portfolio of college-level assignments to the College Board for assessment. This class offers students the opportunity to develop portfolios in Drawing, Two-Dimensional Design, and Three-Dimensional Design.
