Admission Process
Admission Process Checklist
The Admission Process Checklist walks you through the steps involved in applying for admission to North Raleigh Christian Academy. Please visit the other pages on this Admissions site to verify dates and times for Prospective Parent Information Meetings and Screening & Testing Dates. NRCA has reviewed data from previous years and determined we can best partner with parents and set students up for success by requiring that rising kindergarten students turn five before July 1 of the current year to enroll.

Once you are ready to begin the process, please follow the checklist carefully. Due to the volume of applications we receive each year, we are unable to process any part of an admission packet until payment is received.

NRCA partners with families in Kingdom education to educate students in academics, athletics, and fine arts, firmly grounded in a biblical worldview. We work closely with our families for each student's success, beginning with the admission process.

As we review each application, we want to ensure that the student's admission is a good fit with our mission, beliefs, core values, and vision for preparing them to impact the world for Christ. The following criteria factor in as we consider a student's application:

-
Developmental readiness of early learners and academic achievement of older students
-
Evidence of applicant's potential for success in our academic programs
-
Applicant's interpersonal skills, ability to thrive in harmony with the core values and policies of NRCA, and potential to make a positive contribution to our community and culture
-
Parent's affirmation of alignment with NRCA's status as a covenant school serving families who profess faith in Jesus Christ and desire a Christian education for their children
-
Evidence of parents' cooperation with and support of NRCA's mission, vision, core values, policies, and culture
