Fall NLI Season Sees Five Knights Signing

Five NRCA athletes have signed National Letters of Intent to play at the collegiate level. Of the athletes, one signed for tennis, one signed for softball and three for volleyball.

On November 13, Tiffany Pyritz signed her National Letter of Intent to play tennis at Charleston Southern University. Charleston Southern is an NCAA Division I school in South Carolina, and Pyritz will be playing in the Big South Conference against teams such as Liberty, High Point, and Winthrop.

Softball standout Adriana Liggins signed her National Letter of Intent to play at Louisburg College, a two-year college in Louisburg, North Carolina. Liggins’ signing date was November 9. After Louisburg, Liggins hopes to continue developing her softball skills at a four-year college.

Three seniors from NRCA’s volleyball team signed on November 13. Natalie DeHaan signed to play at Northwestern College in Iowa. The Red Raiders are members of the GPAC. Casey Justus signed to play volleyball at Cornell University, located in Ithaca, New York. The Big Red volleyball team plays in the Ivy League.  Lauren Janok will head to the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York. The Black Knights play in the Patriot League against teams like American University, Boston University and the U.S. Naval Academy.
